En el pueblo de Epuyen me encontré con Quimey, un paisano cantor que nunca niega alzar un grito al cielo. Quimey canta siempre, mas nunca grabó. En este encuentro con él, yo con mi portastudio Zoom H4 pude registrar algunos cantos de Abelardo Epuyén el cantautor de Cholila (pinocho como le dice él), nombre que a veces él mismo se otorga como si el mismisimo Abelardo tomara posesión de su voz y a traves de su inspiracion pudiese invocarlo.

In the town of Epuyen I met Quimey, a countryman singer who never denies raising a cry to heaven. Quimey always sings, but he never recorded. In this meeting with him, with my Zoom H4 portastudio I was able to record some songs by Abelardo Epuyén, the singer-songwriter of Cholila (pinocchio as he calls it), a name that he sometimes gives himself as if Abelardo himself took possession of his voice and Through his inspiration he could invoke him.
